Irina Lebedeva met her beloved dog in November 2017 when she was still a puppy. Once a girl, leafing through a news feed, noticed an ad about a small, thin pet that was trying to survive on the street.
The photo showed a skinny little girl, looking plaintively at the person who was filming her. Ira’s heart fluttered. She and her family went in search of a pet and soon found her. The little one sat by the tree, clinging to it with her whole body and shivering from the cold.
The puppy was taken home immediately. At first, Ira just thought about overexposure and that a little later she would put the baby in good hands. When the pet was carefully examined, they saw matted wool on its neck, to which something like straw stuck. The girl began to bathe her, and then it became clear that this was not straw at all. In fact, the neck of the animal was cut, and a rope had grown into the wound. The sticky mass that looked like straw was actually pus! It turns out that the wool hid the mortal wound.
Irina hurried to take the baby to the vet. There, the pus was removed from the baby, an operation was performed and the wound was sewn up. And an ultrasound of the abdominal cavity showed that in the tummy of the poor fellow, everything except food. After all the manipulations, the puppy was prescribed treatment and handed over to Irina.
At that time, Lisa (that’s the name of the dog now) was about four months old. It was clear that the animal lived somewhere in the house, where it was kept in very poor conditions, and then completely put out on the street.
The baby got used to the house and to the family of Irina for a very long time. For almost six months, she hid from everyone in a corner. There, the baby ate, went to the toilet on a diaper and slept.
Then curiosity got the better of her, and the girl began to come out of hiding. Little by little, the Fox began to get used to people and soon her heart thawed completely.Now it is a loving dog that loves its owners. But with strangers, she is still very careful and does not allow anyone to stroke her.
