Once in the basement, someone noticed a family of raccoons. Glorious fluffy mother pressed tiny babies to her, but she could not take them out of there. A group of people led by a brave girl was called to help her. It was the Gates Wildlife Control organization.
When rescuers arrived, the frightened mother raccoon ran away. True, she did not run far, hiding in the basement opening. It was clear that she would return, however, for now, she needed to squeeze when the people left. The wild animal only watched the actions of the rescuers, hoping that her baby raccoons would not suffer …
Armed with long traps, “tongs”, the rescuers went to the rescue. The little ones were somewhat shocked, but they did not run away, so they were able to get them without any difficulties. One after another, the raccoons were on the surface, after which the rescue girl was already holding them in her hands. True, after putting on mittens, so that the raccoon mother would not subsequently abandon her cubs, having heard a foreign smell on the babies.
When all three animals were rescued, the rescuers decided that they needed to organize a happy meeting of the furry family. To allow the fluffy “parent” to safely pick up the kids, they were put in a box that had a round hole.
As soon as the rescuers left, the sharp muzzle of the mother raccoon appeared nearby. She quickly jumped to the box and grabbed the first baby. In a moment, a caring mother was already carrying him somewhere, hiding from prying eyes.
The rescuers smiled as they realized that their plan had succeeded. And in the morning, the girl who was in charge of this whole operation came to check the box. To her great joy, it was empty, which meant that mother and children were reunited!
People were happy that they were able to help this charming family, but we hope that all raccoons are safe now!
