Once volunteers from one of the shelters in China learned about puppies who were left without a mother. Someone told people that the babies were in an abandoned factory, and there were no dogs next to them …
Later, the shelter staff found out the terrible truth: the four-legged mother was caught and taken to a farm that sells dog meat. And, if it was hardly possible to save her, then the tiny puppies had to be found and taken away!
Arriving at the indicated place, people went in search of dogs. There were weeds everywhere, and here and there grass grew, and vines grew on the walls of old buildings. But the kids were nowhere to be found, and a lot of time had to be spent looking for them.
Since there were several buildings, it was not possible to immediately find the babies. After wandering through the buildings and abandoned premises with no result, the volunteers decided to look for puppies in the farthest building, which was overgrown with weeds. It seemed to them that this was a very good place, and the dog could hide the babies there.
Alas, there were no crumbs in this place either, and for a moment one of the volunteers was ready to give up. And then the joyful employee of the shelter saw a small room, which was located under the stairs. There were three tiny puppies there! They huddled in a far corner and were now shivering either from coolness or from fear! Small “balls” lay on dry leaves and looked at the volunteers in fear, clinging to each other.
The defenseless kids were obviously waiting for their mother, so they were surprised when they saw strangers instead of her. Gently picking them up, the volunteer left the unfriendly room…
When the puppies were brought to the shelter, they immediately poured milk. The crumbs were very hungry, so they greedily began to lap it from a bowl.
Then two of them fell asleep, and the third was trembling and worried about something. Apparently, the little one was the most incredulous and still could not understand that he would not be harmed.
The puppies were named very cute names – Olive, Lilac and Lilia. All of them turned out to be healthy and gradually got used to life in the new conditions. Volunteers take care of them, walk in the yard and play with them. The crumbs grow and slowly get stronger, gaining strength …
I would like Lilia, Lilac and Olive to have owners soon, because these nice kids are worthy of love and care!
