On that sunny day, San Diego resident Joanne Goss didn’t expect to be under a lot of stress. Her beloved dog Hank ended up in the water, and he began to be carried farther and farther from the shore … The woman says that she came to the beach with two dogs. Hank was picked up by a wave and carried away from the shore. The poor dog floundered frightened, trying to get out on land, but only exhausted himself. Joanne saw him for a while, and then the dog disappeared from view.
Fortunately, a man named Mark Waters, a local surf coach, noticed everything that was happening. He decided that it was necessary to help the pet, and immediately jumped into the water. Vacationers anxiously watched the man, who for a moment was lost in the raging ocean.
Soon the brave man appeared out of the water, and not alone, but with Hank under his arm! Mark admitted that he had to swim a very long distance to finally get to the dog, who was already almost drowning, having lost his strength. Fortunately, the baby was not injured, and now generally in perfect order. At that moment, Joanne did not know how to thank the brave rescuer and was ready to burst into tears from an excess of emotions.
When the excitement subsided, the woman complained that there were no warning signs on the beach. According to Mrs. Goss, if the owner saw something like this, she would not put her pet at risk. Joanne sincerely hopes that the local authorities will still put up warning signs, and such an incident will not happen again.
