When a young man named Brett Hereford was fishing on a lake in Montana, his “catch” exceeded all expectations! The young man was with his family at the time, hoping to enjoy the weekend.
But in the process of fishing, Brett caught something completely different from what he expected! It wasn’t a fish…
When the guy and his family were already far from the shore, he noticed something strange in the water and decided to take a boat closer. It turned out that a lynx was trying to stay afloat with the last of its strength!
Instead of leaving the animal, Brett immediately rushed to his aid. To get the weakened lynx, people had to use a fishing net. A minute later the animal was safe.

No one knows exactly how the lynx ended up in such a difficult situation, but without the help of people, it would not have survived.
All members of the Hereford family understood that everything could end in tragedy, and therefore they caught the animal. The lynx looked very tired after the incident. When the boat approached the shore, the poor thing carefully climbed out onto land and quickly disappeared from view.
That’s fishing! Brett will always remember this day. When else will he have to pull such a “catch” out of the water!? 🙂
