The owner of this dog also got into such a situation, who decided that if he cannot keep the animal, then he needs to get rid of him.
The story of this dog was published by the shelter staff, who took the animal under their care. The dog was found in the park, it was tied to a tree. The animal did not know that the owner was gone forever, so it was waiting for him and was very nervous, realizing that time was running out, and no one was coming back for him.
The owner tried to explain the reasons for his action in a note that he attached to the pet’s collar:
“I’m Rhodey. My master has always spoiled me. I had my own sofa and bed. If you have found me, I beg you, find me a new home and good, loving owners. My owner is out of a job. And soon he will lose his home. I ask you to pray for him, but most importantly, give him faith that everything will be fine with me and I will find a new home,” it was written on a piece of paper.
Not everyone found the note from Rhodey’s owner touching. Many criticized his decision to tie the animal to a tree and leave it to its fate, because he could take him to a shelter. The photo of the dog and the letters made an impression on many people, so Rhodey was lucky to quickly find new owners.
