Artemka appeared on the streets of Oboyan in the spring. The dog was old, very thin and almost completely lost his hair. He walked the city streets in search of food, tried to ask people for it, but passers-by avoided him, shying away from the bald dog. Not infrequently Artemka had to endure bullying and ridicule, especially children made fun of a bald animal. Hearing laughter and mockery, the old man bowed his head and left, although each step was difficult for him. The dog was offended, he could not understand why they were laughing at him, because he became the way he is due to illness.
In a small town, everyone noticed the appearance of the dog, but no one even thought about helping her. The locals treated Artyomka like a scarecrow, none of them even fed him, although he could hardly stand on his paws from hunger.
Artemka spent most of his time at the local store, where he was noticed by a girl from Kursk, who was passing through in Oboyan. Seeing the dog, the girl decided to come up and see what happened to her. Over the past few months, she was the only person who went to meet the dog, and did not try to avoid him.
Standing in the rain, the dog looked at the girl with a mixture of surprise and sadness. He was very unhappy and lonely, there was no place for him anywhere, he no longer believed that he could be needed by someone.
After examining the dog closer, the girl realized that he had a serious skin disease, she also suggested that it could be contagious. Elina is a breeder, purebred dogs live in her house, so she understood that she would not be able to take this dog, because his disease could be transmitted to her pets.
Natasha helped us a lot with Artemka. She lives in Kursk and often helps us by taking the animals that we find on the street to her for overexposure. Although Natasha does not have much space and time, she immediately said that she would take the dog. We are very lucky, because finding an overexposure for a sick animal is not easy, and if the disease is contagious, it is almost impossible. Now Artemka is our ward and we are doing everything so that he recovers as soon as possible.
