Olya went to the veterinary clinic to visit our wards and pamper them with sweets. While the pussies were having fun with new toys, Olya noticed that a small puppy was lying in the next cage. The dog was very thin, and sadness was visible in her huge eyes. In the cage, the animal had only a diaper, there were no toys or other things from the house there.
As it turned out, both the owner and Vita were not at home. This dog, along with brothers and sisters, was thrown to the threshold of the clinic. Unfortunately, only Vitochka survived from all the babies, the rest did not suffer from enteritis. Nobody paid for the treatment and the hospital, there was also no one to visit the baby, so she was alone all the time and ate what her employees treated her to. After recovery, the baby had nowhere to go.
When I saw the photo of Vitochka, I could hardly hold back my tears. She was small and unhappy, at the same time, a lively mind shone in her eyes, the dog understood that no one needed and was doomed to loneliness. I immediately called the clinic and said that I would take the baby under my care. Since that day, both treatment and maintenance have become better, because veterinarians no longer had to save money.
At the time of our meeting, Vitochka weighed about 2 kg, despite the fact that she was clearly a mixture of a staffy or a pit bull, which means that by her three months she should have weighed at least 3-4 times more.
When Olya first took the baby in her arms, she immediately began to lick her, as if thanks for the attention shown. Vita turned out to be a very affectionate and gentle girl, she felt defenseless and a desire to be loved. The little girl perceived Olya as her new mother and looked into her eyes with hope.
We had to worry about our new ward, because her condition remained difficult, but we were ready to fight and, together with the dog, overcame the worst. As soon as it became possible, we took Vita from the clinic. When it was time to leave the clinic, Vita got nervous, but as soon as she saw Olya and the duck, her favorite toy, she immediately calmed down, believing that everything would be fine in her life.
