The fate of a homeless dog is hard! It is especially difficult for animals in winter. And the point is not even hunger, but the fact that pets have nowhere to sleep. The doors of the entrances are closed by “kind” people, and when it gets colder and colder outside, and the animals wander around for days in search of warmth, at some point they simply fall down exhausted …
This dog’s name is Tikhon. The mongrel also could not stand the cold, and once fell right into a snowdrift. He must have considered the snow his home, or his final resting place. The pet lay there, freezing to death. A little more and he would have fallen asleep for the last time, but, fortunately, a kind girl named Svetlana found out about the animal. She and her volunteer friends went to save Tikhon.
The dog was lured out of the snowdrift, and it happened just in time! The animal was sent first to the veterinarian, and then to overexposure. Svetlana paid for Tikhon’s housing both from her own funds and with the help of money raised by caring people.
The girl still takes part in the fate of Tikhon. She sincerely hopes that the gentle, affectionate and slightly shy pet will find a home.
