Stray dogs chose a clearing near the village and lived there, trying not to catch the eye of people and not die of hunger. The locals did not like this neighborhood, so one day they burned the clearing, and the dogs were forced to look for a new place, it was the building of an abandoned school.
Together with everyone else, Rada also ran away from the fire, but she had to return to the clearing several times to pick up her puppies. She carried the kids under the school building, believing that they would be safe there. But even there, people did not leave the animals alone.
In the village council, the burnt clearing will be explained to us by the fallen grass, and their appearance on the territory of an abandoned school with good intentions, and not hunting for stray dogs.
When we arrived at the school, it became clear that we needed to pick up everyone. We took away all the animals that we could catch and put in the car.
Rada herself led us to her puppies, hidden under the threshold. Both the mother and her 7 children were saved and on the same day they went to the zoo hotel. The babies by that time were no more than two weeks old, man had to tinker to pull them out from under the building.
We quickly found a family for Anfisa, and Rada and her kids lived in a zoo hotel for a year. We wrote to Rada and her children, posted photos, but no one wanted to give them a family.
Rada is a smart and affectionate dog, she is sociable and polite. The director of the zoo hotel was fascinated by her and said that this is an example of an ideal dog, but, unfortunately, people more often choose a dog based on appearance, and not on character.
We took Rada to Moscow to sterilize. I hoped that a miracle would happen in her life, and this trip showed that my hopes were not in vain …
