The dog Mishka has been living near the highway for 11 years. The dog is well known to all the locals, because it never shows aggression towards people, on the contrary, it is friendly and sociable. By the road, people set up a booth for Mishka so that the dog would not suffer so much from rain and cold.
The dog is not just at the track, here it has been waiting for more than 10 years for its owner to return. Unfortunately, Mishka’s owner died 11 years ago after being hit by a car, but the dog still hasn’t come to terms with this thought and believes that a miracle will happen and the man will come for him to the place where they parted many years ago.
The locals are accustomed to seeing Mishka at the track every day, but, according to them, it is much more difficult to get used to the sad look with which the dog looks at the road. Several times people tried to take Misha to their place, but he always runs away and again sits in his usual place on the side of the road.
Bears help and drivers passing by. The dog is fed, sometimes people try to pet it. The dog is grateful for the food, but at the same time, he tries not to come close to strangers. Perhaps he perceives affection from strangers as a violation of loyalty to his master.
The bear is a living proof that animals are capable of great fidelity. It is difficult for dogs to get used to the loss of their owners, sometimes it takes them years, and sometimes, all the time in the world is not enough to understand that a loved one is gone forever. Such fidelity on the part of dogs leaves an imprint on a person who should be worthy of such sincere and selfless love.
