Belarusian Nikolai Terletsky devoted all his time and energy to the development of his farm, he liked the way his life was arranged, he did not want changes. Everything changed in one day, when a bear cub came to his farm. Although the animal was very small, it immediately frightened Nikolai and his employees, because bears are predators by nature.
Nikolai did not know what to do with the animal and began to call various city services in the hope of help. All the answers he received came down to two options: return the baby back to the forest or euthanize.
The mother of the bear cub did not come for him, so the man decided that the baby had been living on his own for some time and went out to people only because, due to his age, he could not get his own food in the forest on his own.
Nikolai decided to help the bear cub, although this involved great risks. In Belarus, bears are listed in the Red Book, keeping such animals at home is fraught with criminal liability. To obtain permission to keep a bear cub, a man spent a lot of time and effort, but he was able to overcome the bureaucracy and obtain the necessary documents.
At the same time, it turned out that the bear cub was a girl, although at first Nikolai was convinced that it was a boy. The baby remained to live on the farm, although it cannot be called tame. The bear cub does not go to people and can scratch when they try to touch it.
At the same time, she perfectly mastered the space around her and feels very free on the farm. Nikolai decided that he would soon build an aviary for his ward, where she would be comfortable and where she would not threaten people around her.
