That day a woman called us. On the phone, she said that a kitten and a puppy had been sitting at her fence for several days, which were closely clinging to each other.
My imagination immediately drew me a cute picture with these animals, the cat was only overshadowed by the fact that the woman watched them from the window of a warm house for several days, but did not want to feed or take them into the house to warm up.
When I asked the interlocutor about this, a categorical answer followed: “We have our own dog, I won’t take care of anyone else.”
Our assistant went for the animals, people simply brought him a puppy and a cat to the gate so that he could pick them up and not go into the yard. A touching couple consisted of a dachshund puppy, which we named Tim, and a kitty, who received the name Sylvia.
Both animals were very cold and shivering from the cold, but Sylvia was a little more fortunate: for two days she lay on the street, pressed against the abdomen of the dachshund, so the cold did not affect her so much. We immediately took Tim to the clinic, because snot was flowing from his nome, he did not bark, but coughed loudly.
The vet diagnosed the dog with pneumonia. After making sure that the cat was warm, the five-month-old puppy became seriously ill himself.
Tim is undergoing treatment, and Sylvia has been taken in by Valentina. According to the woman, the tricolor cat is distinguished not only by its unusual color, but also by its kind and affectionate character. Silvia tries not to step aside from Capri, the cat that lives with Valentina, constantly clinging to another animal, in search of warmth and affection.
