The cat, with white fur thickly smeared with mud, was rushing about at the door of the store and crying desperately. There was a huge wound on the head of the animal, blood was caked on the wool, and pus began to ooze from the wound. Seeing such an unattractive picture, passers-by turned away from the animal and tried to leave as quickly as possible. Nastya couldn’t just leave, so she took the cat from the doorstep of the store and immediately took her to the clinic.
As it turned out, the head wound was the most noticeable problem, but far from the only one. The cat left the clinic with a new name, Belyashik, as well as treatment scheduled several months in advance. It took Nastya almost half a year to cure Belyashik and turn him into a drowned and fluffy white cat.
The search for a family for Belyashik also took the girl a lot of time. The cat fell in love with Nastya very much, but the girl could not leave him, because she takes care of 40 dogs and two dozen cats.
Belyashik loves affection and demands a lot of attention to himself, not agreeing to share it with other animals, and it is difficult for Nastya to devote much time to him, because the girl simply does not have it. The cat had to live in the same room with other tailed ones, he could not move freely around the house and sit in the girl’s arms for hours as he would have liked. Looking for a family for her ward, Nastya understood that he would not tolerate competition and should be the only favorite of the family.
When a suitable family was found, Nastya insisted on a trial period. The first few days the cat was uncomfortable in the new house, but gradually he got used to the owners and went to explore the apartment.
Now Belyashik can freely walk around the house, while he has his own corner where his favorite toys lie. At first, the cat could not believe that he had no competitors, so falling asleep, he kept the toys near him with his paw, fearing that someone would take them away. Now the cat is used to being the only family pet, he also responds with love and affection to his new owners .
