This story is about a cat named Ignat. The owner of the animal died three years ago, and no one needed Ignat. All these years, he, his mother and brother wandered the streets of the city, trying to find food and a place where they could warm up. In search of warmth, they often looked into the windows of other people’s houses, but no one wanted to open their doors to the animals.
His brother was the first to come to me, and later I took Ignat himself from the street. The cat ended up in my house in the spring, at that time it was still cold. As soon as Ignat was warm, all the consequences of street life became clearly visible.
We immediately had to treat pneumonia, then tests revealed disorders in the functioning of the kidneys, liver, pancreas, as well as the high sugar levels caused by them, which required insulin injections.
On the X-ray, the doctor saw two bullets that were stuck in the body of the animal. As it turned out, in the place where the cats used to live, someone trained their accuracy on them. Ignat was very lucky that the bullet did not hit his spine.
There are many health problems, they constantly cause a deterioration in his well-being. Periodically, the cat refuses to eat, then I immediately begin to put him on a dropper. Recently, the cat has begun to eat poorly and is losing weight, tests are needed that will tell about her condition and help determine the approach of the crisis.
