Last year, two residents of Smolensk found a cardboard box that was near the forest. Autumn was coming to an end, it was raining, it often snowed, the box had time to get wet. The women decided to look inside.
Opening the box, they saw two cats, teenagers in age. The cats huddled closely together in the wet box, trying to get a little warm. When people appeared, the cats wept plaintively. It was clear that the cats appeared near the forest in such weather not by chance, they were left there, dooming them to certain death. The women took the animals from the forest, but they could not take them for themselves, so they took them to the basement, where other homeless animals warmed themselves.
Cats used to be domestic, they did not know life on the street, so they began to get very sick, eventually they stopped eating. Later it turned out that it was a boy and a girl. The boy did not see well, he had films in front of his eyes, the girl turned out to be completely blind. Street cats, who had long chosen the basement, did not accept newcomers and constantly offended. Having learned about the difficulty with which this couple survives, I took them. I used to have blind cats, so I knew how to take care of them and decided to give these animals a chance.
First of all, I took black and white cats to the vet. The doctor diagnosed both with pneumonia and prescribed treatment. We also took up the removal of worms and fleas. Both animals turned out to be affectionate and sociable, they love the company of people, they come with pleasure to sit on their hands and purr.
I sterilized the girl and started looking for a new family for her. Finding owners for cats with special needs is not easy. Recently, the cat fell ill again, refused to eat, constant vomiting began. We again went to the clinic, where we consulted with the doctor and passed the tests.
