This dog was found on the street a few years ago by an elderly couple. They saw a homeless animal, which was clearly expecting offspring. The dog was sick, so the couple decided to take her off the street, thereby saving the life of both her and her babies.
Their ward wife was given the name Pepa, they fed and treated her. Soon the dog became a mother, when her children grew up and became independent, new families were found for them.
Following the family began to look for a new home for Pepa. They feared that they would not be able to cope with caring for her because of their age. Pepa was taken in by family friends who lived 160 km away. Just a few weeks later, Pepa ran away from her new owners. She was found after a while, when she herself came to the doorstep of an elderly family who saved her from life on the street.
The dog traveled 160 km to return to his family. Such a long journey took away all her strength, her paws were injured. People immediately fed and watered Pepa, washed her, after which the dog fell asleep and slept for two days.
It became clear to the spouses that the dog had chosen them as owners, so they decided not to look for another family for Pepa anymore. They called their friends and said that the dog was found and now they will take care of it themselves.
