Cats and dogs are considered to be irreconcilable antagonists, enemies created by nature itself. In this story, everything happened completely differently and these animals became true friends. The cat became a hero for social networks after he began to console the dog, which was obviously upset about something.
The puppy lived in the apartment and with the owners, but at some point they got tired of the pet, and they kicked him out into the street. The dog was just sitting at the house where until recently she lived, but where she was no longer allowed. The animal was afraid to leave the house, staying nearby regardless of the weather. The puppy was waiting for the owners to call him back soon, but this did not happen. After a while, a homeless cat appeared near the dog. The cat was always near his friend, as if supporting and protecting him. The cat left the dog only when people appeared whom he did not trust at all.
“We see them all the time in this place. Even the gaze of animals is always directed in the same direction. When people approach, the dog looks at them, as if waiting for help from them, but the cat, on the contrary, immediately hides, he is afraid of people, ”says a woman who lives nearby.
Previously, the puppy had a family, an elderly husband and wife. When the owners of the animal moved to the nursing home, they could not pick up the pet due to the prohibition of the administration of the institution. Instead of looking for a new family for the dog, the owners simply kicked him out into the street. The dog spent six months on the street, near the house where she used to live. The cat appeared next to him in the very first days and after that did not go anywhere. Some of the local residents made a small house for the animals, where they hid from rain and wind. “When they sleep at night, they always hug to keep each other warm. Although they are different, they have a lot in common: both have nowhere to go, people didn’t need them, maybe that’s why they support each other so much, ”says the man.
Over time, volunteers found out about this couple, who took them from the street and took them to the veterinarian. Fortunately, both the cat and the dog were completely healthy. So far, inseparable friends live in a shelter, and volunteers are looking for a family that will agree to take both the cat and the dog, because they cannot be separated.
