Rhys and Juliet took their dog for a walk. While walking, Peggy met a magpie that was lying on the ground and did not fly away because it was injured. The Staffordshire Terrier always avoids birds, but this time she stopped. People did not notice the bird, they saw that their pet was staring at something, and only then did they notice the object of her attention – a magpie whose wing was broken.
Juliet and Rhys saw that the bird needed help, so they took it with them. The bird was named Molly, people fed and cared for her, and she quickly recovered.
Peggy showed the most attention in Molly. She helped feed the magpie, sat next to it, looked after the bird until its wing healed. Molly and Peggy became best friends and played together all the time. Juliet and Rhys have another dog, Xena the sheepdog, who also adopted Molly right away. Xena often goes for a walk with a magpie, but does not like active games, while the Stafforish Terrier, on the contrary, happily spends hours running around the yard with a bird.
Thanks to Peggy, the magpie mastered a useful skill – learned how to get worms. The doors of the house were always left ajar, so if Molly decided to fly away, there would be no obstacles in her way. But she did not want to leave her new home and best friend at all. Over time, Molly even learned to imitate dog barking.
Molly stays with people and their pets, and uses the open door to take a walk outside, always inviting Peggy for a walk. Over time, the bird seemed to be convinced that it was also a dog.
Peggy is no longer young, she was not always able to keep up with the restless bird. Sometimes, when Molly wants to frolic, and she is too tired, she just pretends to fall asleep, but Molly got a new companion thanks to Peggy.
Peggy became the mother of five adorable kids. Four puppies of them went to new homes as soon as they became independent enough. The owners decided not to separate the girl named Ruby from her mother. The baby turned out to be very energetic and immediately won the favor of Molly. Now this couple plays and runs all day long, and the dog enjoys a long-awaited rest.
Ruby is very energetic and cheerful, she gets along wonderfully with all the inhabitants of the house.
