In winter, a man stopped at the bins on the bypass road to dump the garbage. There were sugar sacks next to the bins, one of which was moving. The man decided to check what was happening and untied the bags.
In one of them lay a cat that did not wait for help, in the other there were two more animals that were still alive. The cats were soaking wet and snuggled up to each other in an attempt to warm up a little. The man put them in the car and there they warmed themselves by the stove while he drove, performing work tasks.
Already at home, he carefully examined his find and found that both cats were missing an eye. He took the animals to the vet. Already at the clinic, I learned that the man had a small shelter for stray dogs at home, but there was no separate room for cats, only a small cage next to the enclosures.
I took the cats. In both animals, the doctor revealed pneumonia, noses and eyes flowed from the bottom, there was indigestion. The black cat was younger, I gave him the name Tomato. As soon as he warmed up and ate, he immediately began to play. The gray cat turned out to be aged, his eye socket was badly inflamed.
When the animals recovered, their eye sockets were sewn up, both boys were castrated. Only at the beginning of autumn it finally became possible to let cats out of the cage. For both animals, this day was a real holiday.
