In the morning, our Fred was gone…
He left quietly, in a dream, we found him breathless already in the morning…
He was the last one who reminded about the era of the “4 paws” shelter, he will forever remain in our hearts and memories.
For the first few weeks, everyone was afraid of the dog, because it had truly gigantic dimensions. We were worried, but Fred with a truly sprinting speed overcame the five to the car and easily, as if he was completely weightless, jumped into the trunk, grabbing the chicken offered to him on the fly.
When Fred got sick last year, we took his blood right in the enclosure, and it took 5 people at once for this special operation. .
We will never forget how Fred trusted us, how a huge dog behaved like a small puppy when we scratched his ear, and how with his loud voice he reminded us every day that he had an extra ration of bread for lunch.
These 4 years with Fred are filled with various memories…
During a walk in the winter, Fred was happy to drive us on the ice, but sometimes we ended up on slippery ground because the big dog got carried away and didn’t notice the person holding it on the leash.
In our shelter, Fred became a mascot. He looked terrible, but behaved like a child, making an indelible impression on all visitors. And yet, it is impossible to forget Fred’s kind and wise look…
It’s a pity that the age of dogs is so short…
