In the network, the girl posted an announcement that she had found a kitten. We looked through all the ads with lost ones, but no one lost similar cats in that area or in other parts of the city.
We asked a friend who lives in the area to go check on the cat and see how she’s doing. The girl often helps homeless animals, therefore, she simply could not “visit” the cat. The girl took the baby home, although at that moment she had several other animals on overexposure. The girl could not leave the cat on the street, because all the residents of the nearest house helped her with was a shoe box and some food, which they simply poured on the asphalt. It was in the empty box that the girl found the cat, curled up in a ball in the desire to warm up. Already in the house, the cat ate well and fell asleep just under the table. The cat ate with appetite, but was practically not given to her hands, trying with all her might to avoid contact with a person.
The girl immediately noticed that the problem was not in distrust of people, but in the fact that touches in the region of the spine make the animal feel severe pain. The girl did not notice any other diseases with the naked eye, although life on the street clearly did not contribute to the well-being of the animal. The cat was taken to the veterinarian, who assessed her condition as satisfactory. The ultrasound also turned out to be good, but the doctor saw an open fracture on the x-ray. The cat was sent for surgery.
The surgeon collected the bones in the foot and secured them with an external fixator. The cat needs constant care, its paw needs to be treated, dressed with a special ointment. Also, the animal needs regular injections. Fortunately, the cat seems to understand that all this is done for her good and courageously endures all procedures.
How this beauty ended up on the street, we do not know. There was an assumption that she fell out of the window, but it is not clear why the owners did not go in search of their charming and very friendly pet.
