These white puppies were found by a passerby. It was early morning, the babies were lying in the grass and were soaked through with morning dew. Trying to keep warm, the puppies huddled together and cried quietly, hoping to call their mother. The puppies were still quite tiny. Their squeak resembled the cry of a small child, which attracted the attention of passers-by. Most likely, at the same time, their mother was crying somewhere, who could not find her babies in any way.
The people to whom the dog was devoted wholeheartedly decided to separate it from the kids, because they did not want the hassle associated with caring for them and finding new owners.
We took photos of the babies and wrote in the group about the need for a lactating dog or people who can take care of newborn puppies.
In the comments, everyone was outraged by the cruelty of the owner of the dog, touched by white crumbs, but no one wanted to take responsibility for them, because babies need to be fed from a bottle every few hours, both day and night. Time passed, but there were no results, and the puppies, meanwhile, were crying louder and louder from hunger and cold, their chances of surviving until the moment when a master was found for them was melting before our eyes.
While adults were limited to sympathy and advice, teenagers came to the rescue. The girls saw our post and decided to help. By the evening we took the puppies for overexposure. Three babies were taken by a volunteer girl, and 15-year-old Kristina took care of four more.
The city volunteers know the girl well, because she often comes to the aid of homeless animals, treats them and finds new families for them. Caring for newborn puppies is difficult and troublesome, none of the adults dared to take this step, but Christina was not afraid of difficulties.
