The life of this little girl was saved by a dog who knows what life on the street is like and who herself was once saved from this fate. Walking through the forest, Bella suddenly became alert, listened, and then began to pull her mistress Irina with all her might to the snowdrift. Bella was clearly nervous, whining and constantly looking at Ira to make sure that the woman was following her.
Suddenly, the snowdrift began to move, and looking closely, the woman noticed that the snow had melted under it. It turned out that Bella found not a snowdrift at all, but a bag covered with snow. There was someone alive in the bag, because of this it seemed that the snowdrift was moving, and body heat melted the snow under it.
Calling for help a friend who was walking with them, Irina hurried to untie the bag. Inside lay a small red dog that was breathing with difficulty. The tongue of the animal was swollen, it fell out, the dog could not close its mouth. The dog’s paws were also not held, it literally crawled out of the bag.
The women lifted the dog from the snow and carried it home. Although the dog was of medium size, it weighed almost nothing and was so thin that its skeleton was clearly visible. The dog was washed and warmed, but the women did not succeed in feeding it. She didn’t even look at the food. All the time the dog was indifferent, she just looked at one point and did not react in any way to what was happening around.
The women immediately took the dog to the vet. According to the doctor, a dog of this size should weigh about 12 kg, but this girl weighed exactly three times less. It was impossible to say whether exhaustion was a consequence of the fact that the animal had lain in the bag for a long time, or that it had been thrown into the bag already exhausted and weak, unable to get out of the trap. The animal had no muscle mass, the skeleton was clearly visible through the skin.
To save the girl, she had to be taken to the clinic every day for droppers. The first days, Julie did not react in any way to what was happening, she just looked at one point and ignored everything around. The dog continued to refuse food and had to be force fed. It seemed that life disappeared from the eyes of the animal, but Irina did not give up hope to help the baby. After a while, Zhula’s appetite returned, and after that she began to raise her head, but she never got up from her bed and behaved indifferently. The girl did not even have the strength to crawl away from the couch, so she went to the toilet on a diaper.
Only a week later, Julie had the strength to get up on her paws, however, she could only stand on them for a few seconds. Even those few seconds proved to be very important, because they refuted the assumption that Zhulya would not be able to walk.
