King’s story could become a plot for a book in the detective genre. During the next roundup of homeless animals in Yakutsk, a large dog with bright blue eyes fell into the hands of trappers.
I cried when I saw footage of how trapping works and under what conditions animals are kept there. I understood that King has practically no chance of salvation. I tried to find out where they keep the dog in order to help him, but no one gave me any information, and one of the friends I turned to advised me to stop looking, saying that King is no longer there.
Only the guys from Eldar Rescuer, who oppose violence in any form and considered it important to save King from it, agreed to help me.
Meanwhile, King managed to become a negative hero on local TV. The presenters called him the king of stray dogs and blamed him for ten incidents in different parts of the city. King turned out to be a convenient victim. a large dog who easily coped with the tent. At the same time, the journalists accused him of attacking a person, believing that if he is big and did not immediately submit to the casters, then he is definitely aggressive and can tear a person to pieces.
For a long time I was in the dark as to whether the King was alive or not, but one day there was a call from Eldara, who said that he had found the King and was taking him home. It was akin to a miracle, because I simply did not imagine how a dog could be released after being accused of the most terrible deed.
That’s what Eldar told me.
“When King was shown on TV, I saw not aggression towards a person, but a fight for life. There was a rope on the dog, he just fought for his life and freedom. I decided to help King. I went to Krasnodar by car, good people helped me there and took King to the place of our meeting.
We also got home by car, because with the bad reputation that the journalists created for King, they wouldn’t let us on the plane. As it turned out, the locals decided to find him and even organized a real raid. They checked other cars that were transporting animals, followed the guys who helped me.
In order to take King out, it was necessary to hide him as if he were a criminal, although our media announced him to them. We are on the spot. King turned out to be an excellent dog, he is kind, likes to receive and give caresses. I fell in love with this dog right away, he actually proved that he is not capable of what they attribute to him.”
As it turned out, King is still a puppy. He is funny, energetic and clumsy, only he is incredibly large, which scared many people, but it is not the dog’s fault. Even my little dog is not afraid of King, she raises him. Only fantasy, guesses and lies made King a monster in the eyes of people, in reality he turned out to be an excellent dog, unable to hurt even a fly.
