Tails was still very tiny when a streak of failures began in her life. At the beginning of her life, when she was still a baby and could hardly take care of herself, she was thrown into the street. It was the middle of autumn, it was cool and there were prolonged rains. The kitten crawled along the sidewalk between the puddles and did not know where to hide from the elements or how to find food. Reshka caught a bad cold, pus oozed from her eyes, which blinded her eyelids and did not allow her to properly see what was happening around. A girl passing by noticed the baby and took her to the basement, where it was as cold and lonely as outside, but at least dry.
Some of the residents of the house saw a box with a kitten in the basement and put it outside. So Reshka found herself in the rain again. The girl took the cat to the apartment, but she could not keep it for a long time, because her husband suffered from severe allergies. For a week, Reshka had a roof over her head and a person who took care of her, but the allergy pills were powerless and the girl had to look for a new place for the cat.
The baby was in foster care. At that moment, her life should have improved, but the very next day, the overexposure announced that she would not deal with Reshka. An urgent search for a new location began. There was a full house at all the overexposures, but after dozens of calls, we still managed to find a temporary home for Reshka.
The kitty still needed treatment and was at risk of losing an eye, but luckily the vets were able to save him. Tails sees well, but because of the illness she had suffered, one of her eyes remained slightly screwed up and covered with a film. It is because of this feature that the baby was given the name Reshka.
The baby was cured, she grew up and became a real beauty. When Reshka was 4 months old, she was sterilized and had a photo session, and also started looking for a new home. At this point, a new series of failures began in the life of the animal.
Potential owners for the girl were several times, but they either quickly changed their minds, or it turned out that they were simply not ready or did not want to create the conditions necessary for keeping the animal.
Curator Reshki courageously endured all the hardships together with her ward and believed that very soon Reshka would be lucky. Very soon, the cat was noticed by a woman who turned out to be an ideal hostess for her.
Now Reshka is happy in her new home, and her owner is happy to share with the curator a photo of how the kitty grows and flourishes.
