Bitta Bergenson was only 8 years old, but the girl was unusually stubborn and knew how to achieve what she wanted. After spending a lot of time searching the net, the girl found exactly what she needed. After that, the child began to persuade his parents to make a trip to a shelter that was far from their home, not agreeing to look for a pet in the nearest similar institution.
Parents did not want to go through the whole city and suggested that their daughter look into shelters closer, but she stubbornly insisted on her own. On their day off, the whole family went to the orphanage chosen by Bitta, and only on the spot did the reasons for the child’s stubbornness become clear.
The employees began to show the family of their wards, but the girl did not even look at any of them. There were a lot of cute kittens at the shelter, but to the surprise of the parents and staff, Bitta walked past them. The girl was interested in only one animal, while it seemed that she knew exactly who she was looking for and this animal was sitting in the very last cage.
The cat that Bitta noticed looked very bad. The eyes were removed from the animal, and a collar was put on the neck, which did not allow her to lick herself. The girl immediately said that she wanted to take this cat. The adults were very surprised by the girl’s choice and tried to dissuade her and get her interested in other animals. Bittana stood her ground and even used her most powerful weapon – she cried.
The adults realized that they would not be able to dissuade the girl and gave in. Bitta later said that she had seen this cat on social networks and was very sorry for her. This cat has lived all her life on the street, where she brought an infection in her eyes, which developed rapidly. When the animal got to the veterinarians, it was too late to save the eyes, the doctors had to remove them. The cat lived in a shelter, its employees did not even hope that they would be able to find a home for her. None of the visitors had ever even stopped at her cage until Britta came here.
