Do animals understand that their owners abandoned them and left them to their fate? Most likely I understand, but their devotion has no limits, so they often believe until their last day that sooner or later the owner will return for them. This is what happened to Dina. For a long time she was happy with her master Andrei, but then something happened in the man’s life, he began to abuse alcohol.
Andrey brought Dina to the house when she was still a baby. He fed the dog and took care of her, but as time went on his craving for alcohol became stronger, he began to drink daily and found less and less time for anything other than vodka, he did not have time and desire to take care of Dean.
Andrei lives in an old hostel located on the very outskirts of Yekaterinburg. Because of the thin walls, the neighbors are aware of each other’s life.
After drinking, Andrey forgot to take Dina for a walk and do his business, so she often whined. Dina was accustomed to go to the toilet on the street and endured, whining from discomfort. The dog’s crying was not liked by the man’s neighbors, who often started scandals about this.
It also happened that Andrei disappeared for several days, leaving Dina in the yard. The dog always waited for his return, without running away or even moving from his place. On such days, Dina begged for food from neighbors and random passers-by. As soon as Dina had at least a little food, she immediately became quiet and calm, did not cause concern to any of the local residents.
A few days ago, a fire broke out in Andrey’s room, which destroyed everything that was inside the room. The man drew completely wrong conclusions from the situation and, instead of pulling himself together, began to wash down his grief. He completely forgot about Dean.
Before the fire, Andrey said that it was worth looking for a new owner for Dina, because the hostel neighbors were against her living in his room after the incident, he lost all interest in the dog, saying that he no longer needed her and she could do whatever she wanted. Dina doesn’t understand what happened. She sits at the hostel and looks at the windows of the room, hoping that the owner will pay attention to her.
