At first, Ziggy was a little shy, but, having got used to it, she showed her feelings. The baby is very attached to the new owners, so it is very important for her to be close to dear people. The owners will not have time to sit on the sofa or lie down, as the cat immediately looks out for where to perch. It is as if she is planning an attack – URlyka lowers her ears, rounds her eyes, looking for the most convenient place on the hands of people.
If Ziggy doesn’t see a free space, she will still find a way to be closer to the owners. The baby will sit on her back, will balance on the arm or shoulder of a person. It is simply vital for her to climb on the people she loves.
Recently, the owners of Ziggy began to work more directly from home. This news pleased the cat, which immediately began to climb over the computer table and keyboard belonging to the owner. For Rebecca, this has become a real problem, as she needs free access to the device and the ability to answer calls.
The girl even put the cat’s bed right on the table so that she could be closer to her. But even this was not enough! Finally, Rebecca’s husband came up with a great idea. Since Ziggy loves to sit on the owners laps so much, why not make her artificial ones?
The young man took his pair of trousers, stuffed them with cotton so that they resembled real legs, and then hid a warm heating pad inside for extra persuasiveness. He stuck his pants into tennis shoes, and instead of a stomach, he attached a pillow to the structure.
And it worked! Ziggy climbed “on her knees” and slept there for four hours. Meanwhile, her owners were able to work quietly.
People are well aware that “fake knees” will not replace the cat’s communication with the owners, but the situation was out of the ordinary.
The resulting dummy was immediately hidden when the work was done. But if you happen to work hard again, Ziggy’s owners already know how to distract her.
