This is exactly what happened to a 63-year-old resident of Queensland (Australia), who went swimming with his faithful dog named Heidi. The weather was fine, and there were no signs of trouble.
Meanwhile, the boat was suddenly caught in a strong current. After chatting it for a while, the water element turned out to be stronger, and the boat capsized. The man and his four-legged companion ended up in the water.
Passengers began to desperately flounder, trying to get ashore, but the next few hours became a real nightmare for them. The current was so strong that it was impossible to get to land. And yet the dog managed to end up on the shore, where it began to dodge, trying to find salvation. It took her 11 hours!
Only early in the morning, at about 6 o’clock, a fisherman appeared on the shore. He noticed dog tracks, as well as some objects that floated a little further away. The man immediately realized that the dog had an owner, and that misfortune had happened to him. The fisherman called the police. At that moment, Heidi, who was finally found, was completely exhausted.
A few hours later, they saw the owner of the dog. He survived, and it was a real miracle! The man was found near the wreckage of the boat, and he no longer hoped for salvation.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where they found only minor injuries. Heidi also visited the veterinarian, and he noted that everything was fine with the dog. After some time, the owner and his faithful dog were already together. The man does not get tired of thanking the pet, which attracted the attention of people and, thereby, saved his life.
