When a pit bull named Wally first came to the Islip Animal Shelter, it immediately became clear that fate had never pampered him before. He was almost ten years old, and all his life the dog lived not in the house, but on the street. But the pet adored people and strove for human society. He wanted so badly for someone to love him that his new friends from the shelter immediately began to act to give him all the warmth and love that he deserves.
Wally had a severe skin infection and was blind in one eye. The shelter staff was worried about whether someone would want to adopt a special pet. They hoped that some kind person would certainly see a true and devoted friend in the pit bull.
The dog drools and is ready for anything if you have food in your hands. He likes to wander from room to room without doing anything.
Wally really wants to find a family to give someone his love. Unfortunately, almost a year has passed since he got to the shelter, and those who want to adopt the baby have not appeared. The poor thing is still waiting…
Agree, already an elderly dog deserves to live its golden years in warmth, peace and love. Still, the shelter staff really hopes that Wally will be liked by someone. Whatever one may say, but life in the shelter takes its toll, and the pet gradually loses hope for the best. He rejoices when he is taken for a walk, but, sitting in his kennel, he looks depressed and sad.
A pit bull will be able to give any person so much love as he has never seen before. In return, the dog will need care, silence and affection. Does he need so much?
